I spent this year's holiday in Paris, which I already knew well. And even though I thought I knew Paris like the back of my hand, exploring it again with my mother was very cool! Hence my idea to make a list with these few more-or-less popular places and to invite you to take a walk around the French capital. Shall we go?
Tegoroczny urlop spędziłam w już dobrze mi znanym Paris. I mimo że wydawało mi się, że znam Paryż jak własną kieszeń, to zwiedzanie go ponownie z moją mamą sprawiło mi wiele przyjemności! Stąd mój pomysł, żeby zebrać te kilka miejsc bardziej lub mniej znanych i zaprosić was na spacer po francuskiej stolicy. Idziemy?
1. Rendez-vous with nature - Parisian parks.
Although Paris is strictly built-up, there is some space for nature. I really like Parisian parks because they are often beautifully arranged, with some flowers here and there or even mini waterfalls. Plus something that I really like to see is people with books sitting on the bench. Here's a list of parks to discover!

- Jardin des Tuileries
- Jardin des Champs-Élysées
- Versailles (on Mondays it's open for free!)
1. Spotkanie z naturą – paryskie parki.
Mimo, że Paryż jest ściśle zabudowany, to jest tam miejsce na naturę. Ja bardzo lubię paryskie parki, bo często są też pięknie zagospodarowane, to znaczy są posadzone kwiatki, gdzieniegdzie są jakieś oczka wodne czy mini wodospady. Plus coś, co mnie osobiście zachwyca, to ludzie czytający książki, co nieczęsto widzę w Polsce.

- Versailles (w poniedziałki ogród wersalski jest otwarty za darmo!)
2. Architecture to please your eye.
Apart from the fact that there are many beautiful townhouses in the center, there are additionally many beautiful buildings that are nice to see. You don't always have to (or can) go inside, but when walking the streets of Paris you can walk past, take a photo... and move on :p Below you will find the buildings I saw this time!

- Pont Neuf (bridge)
- Pont Alexandre III (bridge)
- Panthéon
2. Architektoniczny zachwyt – budynki, które cieszą oko.
Oprócz tego, że w centrum jest wiele pięknych kamienic, to jeszcze dodatkowo jest wiele pięknych budynków, które po prostu zachwycają. Nie zawsze trzeba (lub można) wejść do środka, ale spacerując po ulicach Paryża można przejść obok, zrobić zdjęcie… i iść dalej :p Poniżej znajdziecie budynki, które ja widziałam tym razem!

3. Parisian classics.
Classics are classics, I don't need to describe them - just list them. I like to see them, walk past them to have that feeling of checking the on my list “what Paris is known for”. But you can skip the classics and visit Paris in an unconventional way ;)

- Musée du Louvre
- Tour Eiffel
- Opéra Garnier
- Notre Dame de Paris (usually you can go inside but due to renovation works it's now more difficult)
- Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre
- Arc de Triomphe
3. Paryskie klasyki.
Klasyki to klasyki, nie muszę ich opisywać – wystarczy, że je wymienię. Ja lubię je zobaczyć, przejść obok, żeby mieć takie poczucie, że widziałam to, z czego Paryż jest znany. Ale klasyki można pominąć i zwiedzić Paryż w niekonwencjonalny sposób ;)

- Notre Dame de Paris (normalnie można było wejść do środka, ale jako że trwają prace renowacyjne, to aktualnie jest to utrudnione)
- Musée du Louvre
- Tour Eiffel
- Opéra Garnier
- Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre
- Arc de Triomphe
4. A stop for a coffee!
I wouldn't be myself if I didn't give some nice addresses for coffee :p the list may not be long, but these are the places I have visited and had coffee there :3

Nie byłabym sobą, gdybym nie podała miłych adresów na kawę :p może lista nie jest długa, ale te miejsca odwiedziłam i tam kawkę wypiłam :3

5. Additional attractions outside Paris, but still in the Paris area.
Paris is not just about what's in the center, but also the towns around it. We had a car so we could go here and there, but transport is doing quite well in the French capital (despite the strikes), so I've provided a list of nice places to get to by public transport too!
- Herblay sur Seine (for the beautiful walks next to the Seine River)
- Enghien-les-Bains (just for a walk around the city and to see the very cool casino!)
- L'Isle-Adam (again, for a walk!)
- Auvers-sur-Oise (to see the Van Gogh's house)
5. Dodatkowe atrakcje poza Paryżem, ale nadal w paryskim rejonie.
Paryż to nie tylko to, co w centrum, ale też miasteczka dookoła. My mieliśmy wygodę jeżdżąc samochodem, ale komunikacja ma się całkiem dobrze we francuskiej stolicy (mimo strajków), więc podsyłam listę miłych miejsc, gdzie można dojechać również komunikacją miejską!
